Balance
A butterfly sips
the morning dew
An eagle soars
through azure blue
The caterpillar crawls
along trellis vines
Unaware the robin
is not far behind
Among boughs of pine
the chipmunks prance
Hoping the hawk
won't join the dance
A young fawn sleeps
in meadow flowers
While the cougar sneaks
hoping to devour
The human race
consumes the land
Will Mother Earth fall
to their demands
All earth's creatures
must play their part
Or our poor world
will fall apart
The circle of life is
about give and take
Let's learn a lesson
before it's too late
