The world's a hall of mirrors

what images do you see

Do you see life the way it is

or as some imagined reality?

Our lives are full of visions

how we hope that it will be

Yet the pictures that we look at

are often someone else's fantasy

The world is set as a stage for us

in movies and magazines

They tell us how to look and feel

in a wild production scheme

Information is fed to us

in massive bytes and endless streams

In the end it's how we process these

that help us truly see

Do we live our lives in fantasy

an Emerald City Dream

Or do we live with our eyes open

forging our own Reality!!
