Broken

                   

         The machine is broken

            can it be fixed? 

    The reason it's still running

  is because we've all been tricked

   We thought we could control it

        with the choices we make

        Little did we know about

    the plans that had been made

         We yelled out in anger

        We screamed out in vain

      Was there no one listening

      who cared about our pain

                 ******

       The foundation is solid

      it was built on bedrock

    The building has its defects

in backrooms that are kept locked

  Let's break down the doorways

      help clean up all the mess

        Open all the windows

          air out all the closets

        Help find the courage

        let's make the stand

  Show we're not discouraged

      The People of this land
