Pretty Please

  

     I'd like to take a moment, if you pretty please
    to point a finger at the problem, all our insecurities 

    Now, maybe that's the problem , the real issue in our land.
    It's all the blame and finger pointing
    Instead of pitching in to lend a helping hand. 

    It's not about the left. It's not about the right.
    It's about keeping us in the dark, divided
    Instead of standing together in the light

    They've got us where they want us
    arguing amongst ourselves
    Fighting out their battles
    while we kill and hate ourselves. 

    I'd like to take a moment and ask you pretty please... 

    We know we have a problem
    Are you part of the cure?
    Are you part of the disease?
